Urban Stems provides consumers with a service to deliver sustainably sourced flowers in urban areas in very quick time frames. When they wanted to raise brand awareness in key new markets they turned to EMC for an Out of Home media plan that would integrate with their other media. Their target audience was commuting business professionals who are strapped for time.
STRATEGY: The strategy involved reaching their urban audience within delivery zones and promoting their brand’s services. By utilizing transit shelters, rail stations and buses in the Philadelphia and Washington, DC markets, the transit media reached that niche urban, pedestrian-commuter market UrbanStems was trying to capture.
TACTICS: Strategic placement of transit media designed to reach commuters at multiple toucpoints, along with multiple vibrant and colorful creatives that helped reinforce impressions.
RESULTS: The campaign was so succesfull that Urban Stems reached their maximum delivery capacity during the run of the Out of Home campaign.
