Virgin Mobile took the opportunity to engage with customers by giving free bike taxi rides to the huge crowds attending Lollapalooza and the Chicago Air & Water Show.
The bikes were strategically placed in key areas around the festivals, where they provided complimentary rides to tired attendees.
During the ride the drivers were able to distribute promotional literature, and talk to the riders about the benefits of Virgin Mobile’s plan.
In addition to the passengers, the bikes were also seen by the huge crowds as they moved around the festival area.
